Sprint turned heads back in February when they offered a $99 plan that included unlimited voice, data, and texting. At that time, AT&T and Verizon were offering $99 plans that just provided unlimited voice, and T-Mobile was offering voice and SMS for $99. That made Sprint’s $99 plan an incredible value for new customers. MSN Hotmail has been replaced and the new version called Windows Live Hotmail has been launched across the globe in 36 different languages. With testing in the Beta period by more then 20 million users, the new version is safer to use, can be accessed via mobile devices and more powerful than the old version. Microsoft has released 4 security updates for 5 known dangers in Windows and Office. Systems and programs affected by the Microsoft Bug Updates are: Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Office 2003 and Outlook 2002 to 2007.
Three of the Microsoft Bug Updates were rated by Microsoft as critical, while the fourth had a rating of important. All of the Microsoft Bug Updates were to resolve remote code execution issues, one of which had been know about for over a month.

On July 20th, Apple announced their earnings for the third quarter of fiscal 2010. Apple posted a record breaking revenue of $15.7 billion with a net profit of $3.25 billion. Apple sold 3.47 million Macs, 8.4 million iPhones, and 9.41 million iPods during the third quarter.

The sales figures for the iPhone 4 sales have been released with over 1.5 million sales on the first day. A total of 600,000 of the phones were pre-ordered in the United States. 100,000 of the phones were sold at the Apple stores on the day of release and 50,000 of them were released into Best Buy stores the same day. The total in the US (750,000) is then released in the UK with equal sales and pre-sales for a total of over 1.5 million units moved.
